My wife read an online article on best Reuben sandwiches in Hillsborough County, and Beanie's was on the list. The Reuben is my favorite sandwich, so we made the trip to Ruskin to give it a try. It was excellent. They made it perfectly. My wife's B.L.T. was very good as well. We had excellent service, and they had other sandwiches that looked good for a second visit.

And so I go to ruskin florida to see my bestie and we go to her favorite watering hole! Bestie doesn't cook! Indeed, when I told her I was going to cook she replied, "my neighbors will wonder what that smell is!" beanies is very unobtrusive, their food and service is NOT. Since it's a vacation for me, we uber it so I can indulge in a margarita or two and she can have a beer or two. walk in and it's homey and cozy. Wood all around and a feel of a cabin in the woods! Server arrives immediately and we place our drink orders which arrive within 2 minutes. Outstanding! I order salad and a cup of clam chowder. Ok, the chowder arrives and it looks murky (kinda dark). I trepeditiously take a bite and nearly fall out of my chair with the smooth, fall down my throat ecstacy. Lots of clams that are smooth and sweet and the milky broth is complimentary. WOW. Salad is what you'd expect: fresh and crisp! My margarita? Obviously hand tossed. I knew the moment it hit my tongue it was balanced. No puckering from sweet and sour mix and no wide eye from too much tequila. yay! All in all, very good food, service and drinks. A 4 for the atmosphere just because the wood thing is appealing in Wisconsin (so snobby of me ). GO THERE AND DONT BE A SEA HAG LIKE ME!

This place is an absolute gem! The wings are perfectly crispy and flavorful, with a great variety of sauces to choose from. The burgers are juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection—some of the best I’ve ever had. Their drink menu is impressive, offering everything from creative cocktails to a solid selection of beers. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It’s clear they care about providing a great experience for their guests. Whether you’re out with friends or looking for a casual date night, this spot is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

I've been here twice, and both times, I've had a great time. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Today, my waitress, Gabby, was very good and attentive. It was lunch when I was there, but was not too crowded, and food came out in a reasonable time. If you are passing by or live in the southshore area, you should definitely check Beanies out.

Can be a bit loud depending on when you go, bathrooms are small but clean, servers are generally nice and service is pretty quick..Not much to complain about if you're going for ADULT casual dining or just to hang out at the bar. It's not that they're not kid friendly, kids are definetly allowed and they have kid friendly food (cheeseburger, chicken tendies ect) but the place is small so ALL of the booths are near the bar. MOST IMPORTANT: the food is consistently delicious. My fave is the beanies beef sandwich but add cheese and a link to it too . Chefs kiss. It's so good. Oh and the apps, my favorites are the fried pickles, onion rings, or they have great french fries

BEANIES SPORTS GRILL, 2002 US-41, Ruskin, FL If you love sports and good food, you will feel right at home at Beanies Sports Grill. This restaurant has an abundance of both. A friend brought me to this restaurant and you will know you are in a sports bar the minute you walk in the door. Sports memorabilia lines the walls, televisions throughout the restaurant are streaming sports highlights and even the tables are sports oriented. My best surprise came when I looked at the menu. I’m from New York and the word, “Reuben” caught my eye. My instinct told me that transporting this NY favorite to Florida would certainly lose the original flavor and the ingredients I loved about this choice so I was hesitant. Other choices caught my eye such as a corned beef sandwich and a Mahi sandwich but the Reuben won out. I have been to restaurants that claim to have Wings as good as they serve in Buffalo or Fish and Chips as good as London but my feeling is, you can take the food specialty out of a city but you can’t take the ingredients that make it special out of the city. The Reuben was close enough that it’s my “go to place” for a Reuben. This is a Sports Bar and most customers will be happy with the many choices presented.

Not forgetting the sides, you can complement your meal with Side Chips ($4.44), Corn Bread ($2.49), or Side Potato Salad ($3.29). Beanie’s drink menu is equally impressive, featuring a range of refreshing beverages like Ginger Ale and Red Bull for around $2.99, or enjoy a crisp Bottled Water for just $1.50.

Customer reviews reflect the passion that goes into each dish. Joe Pezzulich raves about the Reuben sandwich, calling it “perfectly made,” while Kim Dowling describes Beanie’s as a place where “food was so good” that they were eager to return. The enthusiasm continues with Cynthia Wamboldt’s exquisite experience with clam chowder that “nearly made me fall out of my chair,” showcasing the culinary delights waiting to be discovered.

What really strikes me about Beanie's is its emphasis on quality and guest experience. Jessian Diaz highlights the perfectly crispy wings and the juicily seasoned burgers. It’s a reflection of their commitment to not only serving food but curating an experience—one where every visit feels like a celebration.

Whether you're popping in for a quick bite or settling in for a casual date night, Beanie's Bar & Sports Grill is an essential stop for anyone in the area.
